ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KOB) — While many Albuquerque residents eagerly await the premiere of the “Breaking Bad” spinoff series “Better Call Saul,” there’s a law firm in town using the buzz behind the show to drum up business.
Last week, two digital billboards reading “Do Not Call Saul” went up near I-25 northbound and Lomas Boulevard and on the corner of San Mateo and Montgomery NE.
Many people took to social media to question who was behind the billboards, but on Tuesday, an Albuquerque law firm finally fessed up.
“Some lawyers, both real and fictional, give personal injury attorneys a bad name. Saul Goodman is the personification of an unprofessional and unethical attorney,” said Terrence Revo, partner of Revo + Smith, in a statement. “We referred to the iconic ‘Breaking Bad’ character to make a little fun of ourselves and our industry. We are using humor and pop culture to help educate the public about the importance of hiring qualified, ethical personal injury attorneys, because personal injury is no laughing matter.”
Revo + Smith says the billboards will remain up throughout the Albuquerque area for the remainder of the month.
